πThe context
Europe has launched the Green Deal and since then, EU sustainable legislation is at the core of the EU regulatory agenda.
ECIIA has focused on the follow-up of the EU sustainable legislation and the impact on the business and the profession. Companies face intense pressure to improve their performance towards the environment and the broader society. They need to adapt their business model, strategy, governance, operations, and reporting, in an unstable context as the regulation evolves quickly.
π― The goal
The objective of this ESG day is to raise awareness about the sustainability transformation and the unique opportunity for internal auditors to be part of this important journey. During this unique event, we will provide a forward-looking overview of the EU Sustainability regulatory developments, with a particular focus on Sustainability Reporting, and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards.
The different actors of the 3 lines model will be present and exchange views on the impact of the new regulation on the business model. They will explain how internal audits can assist the organisations and share best practices.
π The topics
We will give perspectives on the evolution of the regulatory framework as well as the impact on the implementation in the companies. The one-day program includes high-profile speakers from various professions, EU Institutions, and European business experts and is a unique opportunity to meet with them in person or virtually. It will bring insights, and ideas whether you are starting the ESG journey or already involved.
This event is a great networking opportunity to meet with peers and ECIIA advocacy partners in Europe. The event is organized in partnership with TeamMate and participants will have the possibility to earn 6 CPEs.
